Security tip #17 in our Christmas calendar is to practice the principle of the least privilege (PoLP). All your employees should have the lowest amount of privileges they need in order to do their work. What this means is that someone working with Windows systems most likely don’t need access to your network switches etc. The reasons are many, but one example could be that if someone has been compromised, then the attackers can’t access everything. Another example is to avoid employees to access data they shouldn’t access.
